As an end user of D365 Business Central, we are seeking a skilled D365 Business Central Support Developer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success and improvement of our client’s D365 Business Central implementation, while working on other exciting projects on the roadmap.

What You’ll Do

As a D365 Business Central Support Developer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance for our D365 Business Central system. You will work closely with our internal stakeholders to understand their needs, resolve issues, and enhance the functionality of our D365 Business Central implementation. Your expertise in D365 Business Central development and troubleshooting will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business processes.

In addition, you’ll also:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for system enhancements, bug fixes, and new features within D365 Business Central.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for D365 Business Central system issues, including investigating and resolving user-reported problems.
  • Develop and implement customizations, configurations, and extensions within the D365 Business Central environment to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand and translate business needs into technical specifications specific to D365 Business Central.
  • Perform system testing to ensure the quality and functionality of implemented changes and customizations in D365 Business Central.
  • Work closely with third-party vendors and consultants to coordinate support and ensure successful resolution of complex issues related to D365 Business Central.
  • Document support procedures, known issues, and resolutions for future reference within D365 Business Central.
  • Keep up to date with the latest updates and releases of D365 Business Central, proactively applying them to enhance the system’s performance and functionality.
  • Provide user training and create documentation tailored to D365 Business Central to promote system adoption and efficient usage.

Who you are:

  • Solid experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in the D365 Business Central environment.
  • Proficiency in D365 Business Central development tools, including AL language, C/AL, and C/SIDE.
  • Strong understanding of D365 Business Central customization and configuration options.
  • Knowledge of D365 Business Central modules, such as finance, supply chain, and project management.
  • Familiarity with integrations, data migration, and performance optimization within D365 Business Central.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions within D365 Business Central.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Experience with end-user support in a business environment is preferred.
