Our client, an established IT Services firm, is looking for a D365 Functional Consultant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team and contribute to the successful implementation of cutting-edge solutions.
What you’ll Do:
As a Functional Consultant, you will play a crucial role in understanding and analyzing our clients’ business processes and requirements, and translating them into effective solutions within the D365 Business Central framework. You will work closely with stakeholders, project managers, and development teams to ensure the successful implementation of Business Central solutions. Experience in the construction industry is highly preferred as it will enable you to provide valuable insights and domain expertise to our clients.
In addition, you’ll also:
- Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, identify pain points, and propose solutions that leverage the capabilities of D365 Business Central.
- Conduct workshops and interviews with stakeholders to document current and desired business processes, system requirements, and functional specifications.
- Assist in developing project plans, including defining project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including solution architects, developers, and functional consultants, to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementations.
- Identify and document business process improvements and optimization opportunities.
- Create and maintain clear and concise documentation, including functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process flows, and test cases.
- Collaborate with end-users to define and execute system testing, ensuring solutions meet quality standards and functional requirements.
- Provide training and support to end-users during the post-implementation phase, including user acceptance testing and system adoption.
- Stay up to date with the latest updates and releases in D365 Business Central and proactively apply them to enhance project outcomes.
Who you are:
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience working in the construction industry or knowledge of construction-related processes is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with the functionalities and modules of D365 Business Central, such as finance, supply chain, project management, and resource planning.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into functional specifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented approach and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in creating clear and concise documentation, including process flows, functional specifications, and test cases.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in business analysis or D365 Business Central are desirable.
